Fort Washington, Pa. - Trinity Community's bats remained hot on Monday evening during game 2 of their semifinals series against Calvary PCA. Andy Miller also pitched a phenomenal game on the mound surrendering just two runs over seven frames.

Trinity came out firing in the top of the first as Mike Verillo singled and Tim Brodhag followed with a two-run homerun. A few batters later, Mark Wasson would single home two runners and would come around to score on a Brent Fornwalt single and after one half inning, Trinity held a 5-0 lead. They would score in six of the seven innings en route to a 17-2 victory. In addition to Tim Brodhag's homerun, Mark Wasson and Brent Fornwalt added triples. Verillo, Tim Brodhag, Dan Bergvall, and Spencer Turkot combined for six doubles. Bud Brodhag and Tim Brodhag each had four hits on the night. Dan Bergvall, Wasson, Fornwalt, and Jeremiah Lapp all had three hits a piece as well. For Calvay PCA, Brian Taggart and Josh Tyson both went 3-for-4.

The other semifinals series between Chelten United and Glenside Bible begins Tuesday evening.
