Fort Washington, Pa. - After Trinity beat Jarrettown in game one of their first round series on Monday evening, the two teams showed up the very next night at Mondauk Common. The temperature was hotter than the previous night and the Trinity bats mirrored the thermometers. 

Trinity produced nine runs in the first inning, five runs in the second, and three runs in the third and after four innings, held a 17-3 lead. They would tack on ten more runs over the final three innings and swept Jarrettown by the score of 27-7. Each team did not have their cleanest nights in the field as both teams committed seven errors.

Eight extra-base hits were the highlight of the night for Trinity as a Tim Brodhag provided two home runs as he and Bud Brodhag hit back to back homeruns in the fifth inning. Tim Brodhag also had a triple on the night as he and Mark Wasson, Brent Fornwalt, and Dan Bergvall all tripled as well. Every single one of Trinity's eleven hitters had at least one RBI as Fornwalt and Tim Brodhag each had five RBI. Ten of the eleven Trinity hitters scored at least one run with Spencer Turkot leading the way with five runs scored. All together, they pounded out 35 hits with five hitters in the lineup providing at least four hits. For Jarrettown, Dan C provided a 4-for-4 night with three doubles and Nick provided two hits as well.

By way of the schedule, this is the first series to be completed. On Wednesday evening, Glenside Bible takes on Chelten Baptist and Chelten United faces off against Calvary Church in game two of their respective series. New Life Glenside plays Calvary PCA in game one of their series.
