Fort Washington, Pa. - Trinity Community and Calvary Church squared off on Monday night at Mondauk Common in an exciting one-run game. Calvary got on the board early scoring one run in the first inning but Trinity answered that with four runs in their half. In the fourth inning, Calvary would push another run across the plate but Trinity would answer with two runs to push their lead to four.

In the top of the fifth, Calvary would send all eleven of their batters to the plate as they scored six runs highlighted by a triple to right field by Cliff. Their two-run lead didn't last long as Trinity tied the game in the bottom of the fifth on Justin Deres and Tim Metz singles. With both teams on the seesaw, Calvary would take the lead back in the top of the sixth and Trinity would take in right back in the bottom of the sixth on RBIs from Andy Miller and Tim Brodhag. Miller shut the door in the top of the seventh to preserve the one run lead and give Trinity the victory to move them to 2-0. Calvary falls to .500 at 1-1 on the young season.
