Fort Washington, Pa. - Faith and Calvary PCA met on Friday night as Andy Miller toed the rubber and threw six great innings to earn his second win, as well as Faith's second win, of the season. The game was a defensive battle through the first five frames. Then in the top of the sixth, Ted Schnitzel got the inning started with a line drive to left. After a lineout, Miller, helping his cause, worked a walk. Bud Brodhag then doubled putting Faith in front and they would never look back as they brought the maximum number of hitters to the plate in their half of the inning highlighted by three consecutive run-scoring doubles from Tim Brodhag, Mark Wasson, and Tim Metz. Faith scored nine runs in the inning and tacked on three more in the seventh. Schnitzel ended the game with a diving snag on the right side of the infield and threw the runner out at first from his backside as Faith won, 14-4.

For Faith, Tim Brodhag led the way going 3-for-4 with two doubles and 3 RBI.Bud Brodhag, Jeremiah Lapp, John Helm, and Schnitzel all had two hits a piece in the victory. For Calvary PCA, Slagle and Tyson each reached base twice with a single in the second and a walk in the seventh.
